Vermont Division of Vocational Rehabilitation – Self-Employment Program
Vermont Division of Vocational Rehabilitation provides eligible Vermonters with disabilities individualized support—including funding for equipment, training, licensing, and startup costs—to launch or expand self-employment ventures. VR counselors develop individualized plans supporting entrepreneurship.

Eligibility
Vermont residents with a documented disability who meet VR eligibility criteria and have a viable self-employment business plan.
Requirements
- Vermont resident with a documented disability
- Meet Vermont VR eligibility criteria
- Work with VR counselor to develop an Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE)
