Coalition to Back Black Businesses Grant
U.S. Chamber Foundation grants supporting Black-owned small businesses with $5,000 enhancement grants and a $25,000 grand prize.
About this program
The Coalition to Back Black Businesses (CBBB), led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation in partnership with American Express, AltCap, the National Black Chamber of Commerce, the National Business League, the U.S. Black Chambers Inc., and the Walker's Legacy Foundation, awards Black-owned small businesses $5,000 enhancement grants, professional development, and mentorship. Grand-prize alumni receive an additional $25,000.
Eligibility
Black-owned small businesses with 3 to 20 employees, in operation for one or more years, located in an economically vulnerable community in the United States.
Requirements
- Apply during open cycle (typically late summer to early fall)
- Document Black ownership of at least 51%
- Show business in operation for at least one year
