About this program
Georgia Film Tax Credit provides a base transferable income tax credit for certified productions and qualified interactive entertainment projects produced in Georgia, with an additional uplift available for approved promotional value.
Eligibility
Feature films, television series, pilots, movies for television, commercials, music videos, and qualified interactive entertainment projects certified by the Georgia Film Office and meeting spend and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Obtain project approval and certification from the Georgia Film Office
- Register and comply with Georgia Department of Revenue audit and reporting rules
- Document qualified production expenditures and Georgia withholding where required
