About this program
NORA and the City of New Orleans are partnering on the St. Claude Avenue Corridor Revitalization project to return underutilized and blighted properties to commerce. The program includes a retail market study and low-interest commercial development financing for one or more competitively selected projects, with a focus on retail opportunities such as grocery access in the Lower Ninth Ward.
Eligibility
Competitively selected commercial development projects on or serving the St. Claude Avenue corridor in New Orleans.
Requirements
- Project must align with the St. Claude corridor revitalization strategy
- Respond to NORA selection or financing process
- Provide development plan, financing, site control, and public benefit documentation
