Farm Viability Enhancement Program (FVEP)
Grants of $75,000 to $150,000 for established Massachusetts farms for capital improvements such as barn repair, farmstands, equipment modernization, or food processing capacity, in exchange for a 10 to 15-year agricultural covenant.

Eligibility
Owners of established commercial farms in Massachusetts operating on farmland not protected by an Agricultural Preservation Restriction (APR) or other restriction. Must participate in FVEP business planning process.
Requirements

- Farmland must not be protected by an APR or other agricultural restriction
- Must participate in the FVEP business planning process
