Eligibility
State of Maine agencies, counties, municipalities, school districts, and tribal nations in Maine seeking to acquire or develop public outdoor recreation facilities including sports fields, courts, trails, and playgrounds; private organizations and for-profit entities are not eligible.
Requirements
- Public agency only: Maine state agency, county, municipality, school district, or tribal nation
- Step 1: Request a project eligibility assessment and pre-application site inspection from Bureau of Parks and Lands
