About this program
The City of Meridian works with Meridian Development Corporation to use urban renewal and tax increment financing as tools for encouraging development of underused areas, attracting and retaining businesses, generating economic development, and promoting job creation.
Eligibility
Developers, property owners, and business expansion projects located in or serving eligible Meridian urban renewal districts.
Requirements
- Coordinate with Meridian economic development staff and MDC
- Demonstrate public benefit, job creation, or district improvement value
- Complete project agreement, reimbursement, and public approval steps as applicable
