About this program
ReStore Boston helps eligible for-profit storefront businesses and commercial property owners improve signs and facades. The program reimburses a portion of approved costs, with smaller signage grants and larger facade grants intended to strengthen neighborhood commercial districts.
Eligibility
For-profit businesses with physical storefronts in Boston, sufficient lease control or owner permission, city good standing, and eligible signage or facade improvement projects.
Requirements
- Submit the ReStore Boston application and project information
- Maintain good standing with City of Boston departments
- Pay approved contractors before receiving reimbursement
