WBEA – Women's Business Enterprise Certification & WBC (Houston)
WBEA provides WBENC certification for Texas women-owned businesses (WBE), connecting nearly 1,000 certified firms representing $9B in revenue to 1,000+ corporate procurement programs. WBEA also operates a free Women's Business Center offering counseling and training.

Eligibility
Businesses at least 51% owned, operated, managed, and controlled by women. Texas businesses in South Texas served by WBEA (WBENC regional affiliate). Free WBC counseling available to all.
Requirements
- At least 51% owned and controlled by a woman or women
- Submit WBENC certification application through WBEA
- Documentation of ownership and management control; on-site review
