About this program
The Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program helps older New Yorkers remain safely at home through non-medical in-home services such as personal care, housekeeping, respite, and case management arranged through local offices for the aging.
Eligibility
New Yorkers age 60 or older who need help with activities of daily living or instrumental activities and meet local program assessment requirements.
Requirements
- Applicants must contact a local office for the aging, complete needs assessment, provide age, residency, income or cost-share information if required, and participate in case management or service planning.
