NMFA purchases up to 49% of loans originated by local banks at low, fixed interest rates to increase access to capital for small and trades businesses in rural and underserved areas of New Mexico.

Eligibility
Small businesses, including trade contractors and construction businesses, operating in rural or underserved areas of New Mexico. Loans originated and serviced by participating local banks. Projects must serve an economic development purpose and demonstrate ability to repay.
