About this program
The Savannah Development and Renewal Authority supports downtown revitalization through facade and storefront improvement assistance for eligible commercial properties. Grants help property owners and businesses improve visible building conditions, signage, awnings, windows, lighting, and other exterior features that strengthen the downtown business environment.
Eligibility
Commercial property owners or tenants with owner approval in eligible SDRA service areas.
Requirements
- Confirm property is in an eligible Savannah redevelopment area
- Submit project scope, estimates, photos, and ownership or lease documentation
- Receive approval before beginning reimbursable work
