New Mexico Angel Investment Tax Credit – Clean Energy R&D
State income tax credit of 25% (up to $62,500 per investment) for accredited investors who invest in qualifying New Mexico high-tech businesses engaged in clean energy and advanced energy R&D.

Eligibility
Qualifying companies must have a majority of employees in New Mexico, a majority of investment in New Mexico, and be engaged in qualified research including advanced energy. Investors must be accredited and file a NM income tax return.
