Youth Transitions to Work supports high school juniors and seniors transitioning into high-skill, high-wage employment in labor-demand apprenticeable occupations, including construction trades where local programs connect students to registered apprenticeship pathways. Deadline notes: Program timing varies by school, local workforce partner, and apprenticeship pathway. Notes: Include when the local YTTW pathway is tied to construction or building trades.
Eligibility
New Jersey high school juniors and seniors pursuing labor-demand apprenticeable occupations through approved transition programs.
Requirements
- Work through participating school or workforce partners and provide student eligibility, school participation, career interest, and apprenticeship-readiness documentation requested locally.
