About this program
The New York City Industrial Development Agency provides financing and tax benefits such as bond financing, mortgage recording tax waivers, and sales tax exemptions for eligible projects that create or retain jobs and support economic development.

Eligible New York City industrial, commercial, nonprofit, and real estate projects meeting NYCIDA public benefit, job, investment, and project requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through NYCEDC and NYCIDA before project commitments
- Submit project, financing, jobs, investment, ownership, and public benefit information
- Complete board approvals, legal documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
