Louisiana Hudson Initiative – Small Entrepreneurship Certification (State Procurement)
Louisiana state small business procurement certification program enabling eligible small businesses, including minority-owned firms, to gain greater access to state purchasing and contracting opportunities; 2,543 certified small entrepreneurships at end of FY2024 with $70M in state expenditures; administered by LED and the Division of Administration; most effective when combined with SRMSDC MBE certification.

Eligibility
Louisiana-based small businesses meeting the Hudson Initiative revenue and employee thresholds; open to all eligible small businesses including minority-owned firms; for-profit businesses that meet Louisiana's small entrepreneurship definition.
