The Hartford Microenterprise Microgrant Program, operated with the Urban League of Greater Hartford, provides small grants and support services to local microenterprises for stabilization, startup, expansion, equipment, working capital, and business development needs.
Eligibility
Currently operating Hartford microbusinesses with five or fewer employees, including the owner, and Hartford entrepreneurs seeking to develop a microenterprise, with a physical Hartford address or commitment to locate in the city.
Requirements
- Submit pre-application through the Hartford small business portal
- Provide business plan or complete business plan support through the program
- Document Hartford location, ownership, employee count, eligible use of funds, and required business records
