About this program
Connecticut's Neighborhood Assistance Act allows businesses to receive state tax credits for cash contributions to approved municipal and nonprofit projects, including energy conservation, community services, and neighborhood programs in Mansfield and Storrs.
Eligibility
Businesses with Connecticut tax liability donating to approved Mansfield nonprofit or municipal projects listed through the annual NAA process.
Requirements
- Nonprofit or municipal project must apply through the Town for inclusion on the approved statewide project list
- Business donor must apply during the state business application period
- Maintain contribution documentation and state tax credit approval
