The Massachusetts Commission on Indian Affairs (MCIA) serves as the official state agency for Native American affairs and connects tribal members and urban Native Americans to state and federal programs; serves the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head/Aquinnah, the newly state-recognized Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe (EO 637, November 19, 2024), and other state-recognized tribes; also serves urban Native Americans across the Commonwealth.

Eligibility
Massachusetts Native Americans including enrolled members of federally and state-recognized tribes and urban Native Americans across the Commonwealth.
