About this program
The Big Sky Economic Development Trust Fund Planning program supports eligible local governments and economic development organizations with planning projects that strengthen Montana economic development. Awards may fund feasibility studies, business plans, infrastructure planning, market analysis, and other planning activities.
Eligibility
Eligible Montana local governments, tribal governments, and certified regional development organizations serving areas such as Great Falls.
Requirements
- Submit planning scope, budget, deliverables, and economic development rationale
- Provide matching funds if required by the program cycle
- Complete reporting and deliver final planning products to the state
