BuildItAZ Apprenticeship Initiative - Overview and Ongoing Employer Engagement
BuildItAZ is Arizona's statewide initiative to double the number of construction and trades registered apprentices by 2026. The program connects employers to apprenticeship resources, funding, and policy support to grow the construction workforce across Arizona.

Eligibility
Arizona construction and trades employers interested in becoming registered apprenticeship sponsors or expanding existing programs. Since 2023, BuildItAZ has added more than 5,000 new apprentices to Arizona's registered apprenticeship system.
Requirements
- Must be an Arizona construction or trades employer
- Must be interested in sponsoring or expanding a registered apprenticeship program
- Employers connect with OEO for program technical assistance and funding opportunities
