About this program
Washoe County participates in a HOME Consortium that receives HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to support affordable housing. Funds can support rental housing, homeownership, rehabilitation, and other activities that expand the supply and access to affordable housing in the region.
Eligibility
Affordable housing developers, nonprofit housing organizations, public agencies, and housing partners with eligible projects in the Washoe County HOME Consortium area.
Requirements
- Meet HOME income, affordability, eligible cost, and property standards
- Submit development application, budget, financing plan, site control, and affordability commitments
- Comply with environmental review, underwriting, procurement, and federal reporting requirements
