About this program
The Washington Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund provides low-interest loans to local governments, nonprofits, tribes, ports, and private businesses undertaking cleanup and redevelopment of brownfield properties, with limited grants for eligible public and nonprofit applicants.
Eligibility
Owners or eligible borrowers undertaking cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated or underutilized properties in Washington, including eligible Walla Walla projects.
Requirements
- Contact Commerce’s Brownfields Program Manager before applying
- Enroll in Ecology’s Voluntary Cleanup Program and receive EPA eligibility determination
- Submit project, borrower, financial, cleanup, community involvement, and redevelopment documentation
