Grants up to $100,000 to establish, retain, expand, or develop value-added agricultural processing in Michigan, or to expand regional food systems and access to healthy food including farm markets, urban agriculture, and food hubs.

Eligibility

Michigan-based farms, food businesses, nonprofits, and organizations focused on value-added agricultural processing, regional food system development, or healthy food access. Applicants who received this grant in the last two years are not eligible.

Requirements

  • Must be a Michigan-based farm, food business, or organization
  • Must be developing value-added processing, regional food systems, or healthy food access
  • Not eligible if received this grant in the past two years
