The Community Development Grant Small Grants Program supports neighborhood development projects across Chicago that need smaller City awards to close funding gaps. Eligible projects can include commercial, mixed-use, community facility, and cultural projects that advance local development goals and can demonstrate readiness, community benefit, and a feasible budget.
Eligibility
Businesses, nonprofit organizations, property owners, and developers with eligible Chicago community development projects seeking grants of $250,000 or less may apply.
Requirements
- Project must be located in Chicago.
- Requested City grant must fit the Small Grants funding range.
- Applicant must provide project scope, budget, site control evidence, and financing documentation.
