Innovate ND
Innovate ND reimburses North Dakota entrepreneurs for customer and market research services used to advance new businesses.
About this program
Innovate ND is a voucher-based reimbursement program from the North Dakota Department of Commerce that helps entrepreneurs validate business concepts, identify customers, and advance innovative companies with potential for Primary Sector Certification. Each participant may receive up to $50,000 in reimbursable expenses through two phases of up to $25,000 each, administered through regional Entrepreneur Centers. The current application materials list a June 17, 2026 deadline for the active round.
Eligibility
North Dakota entrepreneurs and startup teams developing innovative businesses with potential for primary sector certification and willing to work through a regional Entrepreneur Center.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a North Dakota entrepreneur or business team.
- Participant must work through one of the designated regional Entrepreneur Centers.
- Reimbursed activities must support customer research, market validation, or business concept advancement.
