About this program
The Apprenticeship Training Grant supports Tennessee employers that are interested in starting an apprenticeship program or are already authorized providers of a Registered Apprenticeship Program through the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship. The grant can assist with on-the-job training for eligible dislocated workers, classroom training for first- or second-year apprentices, and classroom training for pre-apprenticeship participants.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Tennessee employers interested in starting apprenticeship programs or already authorized as Registered Apprenticeship Program providers, and organizations supporting eligible apprenticeship training activities.
Requirements
- Employer must be interested in starting an apprenticeship program or already be an authorized registered apprenticeship provider.
- Project must support eligible apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship, or related classroom training activities.
- Grant may assist on-the-job training for eligible dislocated workers entering an apprenticeship as new hires.
