Georgia Venture Capital Program (GA VC)
A $30 million SSBCI-backed equity/venture capital program operated by Invest Georgia. Invests as a limited partner in venture funds that target Georgia-based, SEDI-owned and very small early-stage businesses, providing growth capital.
About this program
Companies do not apply directly to Invest Georgia; you raise from one of the participating VC funds. Investment terms (valuation, structure) are negotiated by the participating fund. Equity means giving up an ownership stake.
Eligibility
Georgia-based small businesses with 750 or fewer employees seeking equity capital, especially those owned or controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDI). Companies receive investment from selected VC fund partners, not directly from Invest Georgia. Single financing rounds may not exceed $20 million from all investors.
