About this program
The Minneapolis Green Cost Share program helps businesses and building owners reduce energy use and pollution through energy-efficiency upgrades. The City partners with the Center for Energy and Environment to provide grant funding for qualifying projects such as lighting, mechanical, refrigeration, controls, and other energy-saving improvements at commercial and multifamily properties in Minneapolis.
Eligibility
Businesses, commercial property owners, and multifamily property owners in Minneapolis with eligible energy-efficiency upgrade projects may apply.
Requirements
- Property must be located in Minneapolis.
- Project must involve eligible energy-efficiency improvements.
- Applicant must apply through the Green Cost Share program and receive approval before claiming grant funds.
