About this program
The Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS program provides resources and incentives for long-term strategies to meet housing needs of low-income persons with HIV/AIDS and related diseases. Las Vegas HOPWA funds can support rental assistance, supportive services, facilities, and housing stability programs.
Eligibility
Eligible nonprofit service providers, housing agencies, and partners serving low-income persons with HIV/AIDS and their families in the Las Vegas eligible area.
Requirements
- Meet HUD HOPWA eligible activity, client eligibility, and documentation requirements
- Submit service plan, budget, housing need, and compliance materials through the city process
- Comply with confidentiality, reporting, income verification, and federal grant requirements
