About this program
The Nebraska Prototype Grant Program provides financial assistance to individuals and businesses operating in Nebraska to support proof-of-concept activities, prototype design, development, and testing for innovative technologies and products.
Eligibility
Nebraska individuals and businesses developing innovative products or technologies, including Grand Island startups and small businesses, subject to Business Innovation Act requirements.
Requirements
- Submit application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development or program manager
- Provide prototype scope, budget, commercialization plan, and private matching funds
- Match at least 50 percent of the award with private capital where required
