The Michigan Economic Development Corporation awarded Ypsilanti a Façade Restoration Initiative grant to help local property and business owners restore historic and commercial building facades in Ypsilanti's downtown districts through locally administered matching support.
Eligibility
Eligible Ypsilanti DDA building owners and businesses participating through the local facade improvement program and meeting program requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through the local Ypsilanti facade program when funding is available
- Provide facade restoration plans, eligible cost estimates, match, and historic district review information if applicable
- Complete approved work under local and MEDC requirements
