About this program

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers program funds community learning centers that provide academic enrichment, after-school, summer, and family engagement programming for students, especially in high-poverty and low-performing schools.

Eligibility

Eligible local educational agencies and partners such as BOCES, nonprofits, institutions of higher education, city or county agencies, tribes or tribal organizations, and experienced for-profit providers where allowed by the RFP.

Requirements

  • Applicants must meet federal and NYSED RFP rules, partner requirements, program design standards, budget rules, and reporting requirements.
