Vacant to Vibrant provides selected entrepreneurs and artists with grants and support to activate vacant downtown San Francisco storefronts.
About this program
Vacant to Vibrant is a San Francisco storefront activation program that places small businesses, artists, and community activators into vacant downtown storefronts. Selected participants receive financial support, technical assistance, marketing, and access to short-term or pop-up commercial space so they can test concepts, reach customers, and contribute to downtown recovery.
Eligibility
Small businesses, artists, makers, nonprofits, and activators selected to occupy eligible vacant downtown San Francisco storefronts.
Requirements
- Applicant must propose an eligible storefront activation concept in downtown San Francisco.
- Applicant must apply through the Vacant to Vibrant program process.
- Selected participant must operate in an assigned or approved vacant storefront space.
