HGIA released $18 million in GEMS loan capital for nonprofits to finance clean energy improvements such as solar PV, storage, heat pumps, and commercial energy efficiency upgrades, repaid through monthly utility bills.

Hawaii-based nonprofits. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Requirements
- Must be a Hawaii-based nonprofit organization
- Must install qualifying clean energy improvements
- Must participate in on-bill repayment through utility
