Business Incentives for Growth (BIG) Program — Technology and Innovation
Tax incentive program replacing the High Quality Jobs Program, offering refundable investment tax credits, sales/use tax refunds, and property tax exemptions for technology and innovation companies creating or retaining jobs in Iowa. Up to 5% investment tax credit (7.5% in rural counties). Program capped at $50M per fiscal year.

Eligibility
Iowa-based businesses primarily engaged in technology and innovation (or advanced manufacturing, insurance/finance, bioscience) that are creating or retaining qualifying jobs meeting county wage thresholds.
Requirements
- Business must be primarily in advanced manufacturing, bioscience, insurance/finance, or technology and innovation
- Must create or retain qualifying jobs meeting county wage thresholds
- Must submit application to IEDA before project begins
