About this program
The Amplify Albany Grant Program provides funding for nonprofits, businesses, business improvement districts, neighborhood associations, and other groups to create short- and medium-term events, activities, and promotional projects that leverage Albany's unique assets. The program is designed to enhance Albany's commercial districts and businesses by drawing residents and visitors to business corridors and supporting authentic, buzz-worthy programming. Eligible projects must be located in identified commercial corridors within West Hill, Arbor Hill, North Albany, and South End Neighborhood Strategy Areas.
Eligibility
Nonprofits, existing businesses, business improvement districts, neighborhood associations, and other eligible groups proposing promotional projects, events, or programming in identified Albany commercial corridors within West Hill, Arbor Hill, North Albany, or South End.
Requirements
- Apply as an eligible nonprofit, business, business improvement district, neighborhood association, or other eligible organization
- Propose a short- or medium-term project, event, activity, or promotional program
- Locate the project in an identified commercial corridor within West Hill, Arbor Hill, North Albany, or South End
