The Rhode Island Social Equity Assistance Program can support waiver or reduction of cannabis application and licensing fees for approved social equity applicants.

Eligibility
Approved Rhode Island social equity applicants may request application-fee or license-fee waiver resources when the Commission makes those resources available under the Social Equity Assistance Program and Fund.
Requirements
- Applicant must be an approved Rhode Island social equity applicant.
- Applicant must apply for resources during an open Commission resource application period.
- Applicant must show eligibility for fee waiver or reduction resources under the Cannabis Act and Commission regulations.
