About this program
NYC's Business Preparedness and Resiliency Program helps eligible small businesses in flood-risk areas reduce physical risk by providing resiliency assessments and, when available, grants for approved flood protection measures.
Eligibility
Eligible New York City small businesses, including Brooklyn businesses, located in qualifying flood-risk areas and meeting SBS program requirements.
Requirements
- Request a resiliency assessment through NYC SBS
- Be located in an eligible floodplain or target area
- Submit site, lease or ownership, business, and improvement information for any grant support
