About this program
The City of Eau Claire Commercial Building Facade Loan Fund provides affordable financing for facade renovations, signs, exterior doors and windows, awnings, lighting, exterior graphics, landscaping, and related improvements that enhance downtown and nearby business districts.
Eligibility
Property owners, businesses, tenants, and qualifying startups with properties in Eau Claire city limits, especially commercial zones or the central business district, with eligible facade or exterior improvement projects.
Requirements
- Contact the City of Eau Claire Economic Development Division before starting work
- Submit application, project plans, cost estimates, financial documents, collateral information, and supporting checklist materials
- Receive Design Review Committee recommendation and Loan Administration Board approval before funds are disbursed
