Provides Alabama tax credits to qualifying small businesses that create new jobs paying more than $10 per hour.
About this program
The Full Employment Act of 2011 provides an Alabama income tax or financial institution excise tax credit to qualifying small businesses for each new job created in Alabama. The credit is intended to encourage businesses with 50 or fewer employees to expand employment by adding qualifying positions that pay more than $10 per hour.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are qualifying small businesses with 50 or fewer employees that create new qualifying jobs in Alabama paying more than $10 per hour.
Requirements
- Business must have 50 or fewer employees.
- Business must create a new qualifying job in Alabama.
- New job must pay more than $10 per hour.
