OCIDA offers economic development incentives including sales and use tax abatement for machinery, materials, equipment, site work, and taxable goods and services, along with other IDA tools for companies expanding in Onondaga County.
Eligibility
Companies and developers with qualifying projects that expand, invest, or create economic benefit in Onondaga County, including Syracuse projects.
Requirements
- Submit OCIDA application with project cost, financing, jobs, and benefit information
- Meet project eligibility and obtain agency approvals
- Comply with public hearing, reporting, PILOT, and recapture provisions
