About this program
The Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program encourages businesses to support approved municipal and nonprofit projects by offering state business tax credits for qualified cash contributions to accepted community programs.
Eligibility
Businesses with Connecticut tax liability and approved Meriden municipal or tax-exempt organization programs included in the annual NAA list.
Requirements
- Nonprofit or municipal project must apply through the City and be approved for the statewide NAA list
- Business donor must submit contribution request during the state business application window
- Maintain donation and approval documentation for state tax credit claim
