About this program
Wichita’s consolidated plan identifies economic development and small business or entrepreneurial development as eligible CDBG-supported uses, including the PROPEL microloan approach. CDBG-funded assistance can help small businesses and microenterprises provide economic opportunity for low- and moderate-income residents.
Eligibility
Eligible small businesses, microenterprises, and support organizations meeting HUD CDBG economic development rules in Wichita.
Requirements
- Meet CDBG economic development or microenterprise eligibility
- Document low- and moderate-income benefit or job creation where required
- Provide business plan, budget, ownership, and compliance documentation
