Superior may provide TIF assistance for eligible development, redevelopment, infrastructure, and business expansion projects.
About this program
The City of Superior uses Tax Increment Financing as an economic development tool to support eligible projects within local tax incremental districts. Assistance may help finance public infrastructure, site preparation, redevelopment, development incentives, and other eligible project costs that stimulate tax base growth, business expansion, and community revitalization.
Eligibility
Businesses, developers, property owners, and public-private partners with eligible projects in Superior tax incremental districts may seek project-specific TIF assistance.
Requirements
- Project must be located in or directly benefit a Superior tax incremental district.
- Project must align with the applicable district project plan and City economic development objectives.
- Applicant must demonstrate need for public assistance and public benefit.
