About this program
Wilmington administers Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS funds for eligible housing assistance, facility operations, rental assistance, supportive services, and related activities for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families.
Eligibility
Qualified nonprofits, public agencies, and service providers assisting eligible people with HIV/AIDS in the Wilmington HOPWA service area.
Requirements
- Apply through city federal grants process when funds are available
- Document eligible clients, housing or service model, budget, capacity, and compliance procedures
- Meet HUD HOPWA reporting, client eligibility, financial, and monitoring requirements
