South Dakota supports technology commercialization and federal research award leverage through matching resources for eligible companies. Sioux Falls startups and technology businesses with federal SBIR or STTR awards may use state matching funds to accelerate development.
Eligibility
South Dakota small businesses with eligible federal SBIR or STTR awards and qualifying research commercialization projects.
Requirements
- Receive or document eligible federal SBIR/STTR award
- Apply through the state commercialization or economic development program process
- Provide federal award documents, project scope, budget, milestones, and company information
