About this program
Syracuse has opened Main Street Facade Improvement Programs using New York State and Onondaga County Community Development funding to help property and business owners improve commercial buildings, storefronts, signs, awnings, and eligible exterior features.
Eligibility
Eligible commercial property owners and businesses in the designated Syracuse main street program areas with qualifying facade or building improvement projects.
Requirements
- Own or occupy an eligible commercial property in the program area
- Submit application, project scope, estimates, photographs, owner consent, and matching funds documentation
- Complete work according to city, state, historic, and reimbursement requirements
