Massachusetts state income tax credit of $4,800 per apprentice hired by qualifying employers that operate U.S. DOL-registered apprenticeship programs, including construction and skilled trades programs. Expanded eligibility included in the Healey-Driscoll tax reform package.

Eligibility
Massachusetts-based employers with U.S. DOL-registered apprenticeship programs that hire and retain qualifying apprentices. Construction and trades employers are directly eligible. Expanded eligibility effective under the Healey-Driscoll Administration tax reform.
Requirements
- Must be a Massachusetts-based employer with a U.S. DOL-registered apprenticeship program
- Must hire qualifying apprentices in the registered program
- Apprentices must be employed in Massachusetts
