About this program
The Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership offers the Street Level Improvement Matching Grant, known as the SLIM Grant, to help downtown businesses improve street-level spaces. Businesses may request matching grants for eligible storefront, activation, and customer-facing improvements.
Eligibility
Eligible downtown Winston-Salem businesses and property owners completing approved street-level improvement projects.
Requirements
- Be located in the eligible downtown district
- Submit application, project description, cost estimates, and matching funds documentation
- Spend an equal or greater amount on the approved project and follow reimbursement rules
